About us.

Well I guess since this is a blog, maybe I should give an update on what is up with our little family! 

Well I am working part time at a preschool where we go to Church in Allen. I like that I can go to work with Maddie and know that she is being well taken care of. Its also nice because she knows the building and her classroom because its the same one she goes to during bible class on sundays. Other then that I stay at home with her and do house things. I am also doing photography. Something I found out 1000000 other people do. Oh well...I like it and its a good job to have for a stay-at-home-mom.

Brian works for Bankers Financial Mortgage. He really likes it. He was at Grant Thornton right after ACU, and he hated it. It was a very LONG commute. Almost 1hr each way. The hours were bad and.....he just didn't like it. Then during the lay-off craze that everyone was going through, he was one of the lucky ones selected during one of the last round of lay-offs. We freaked out for a little bit, but we realized that he didn't want to work there anyways...so it was actually a blessing.  

Maddie is being Maddie, she will be 19 months old on the 1st of October. She's growing and talking and playing and doing all the things 19 month old's do.

Maddie's 18 month photoshoot

Well the other day my mom and I went out to do an 18 month photo-shoot of Maddie. I didn't do very well with keeping up with it, I think she was 5 months old the last time I did one, I need to do better.  Here are some of what we did that day. I want to do another one soon. She used to be a ham for the camera and love to pose, but lately she has not been wanting to look at the camera, so out of over 100 pictures, I think maybe about 7 or so came out. Oh yea, as i was uploading these, I realized I forgot to put my logo on these. Sorry. Oh well....

This summer

I guess I could start with our exciting trip this summer. Our family went to the BAHAMAS! It was the first time for Brian and I, and the first time for Maddie to fly! It was a wonderful trip and I was literally almost about to cry when it was time to leave. I could seriously live there forever. 

The beginning!

A blog! Well....if everyone else is doing it, why not? So here it goes. I think that this will be a good place to display and advertise for my photography as well as give an up-to-date of what the fam is up to. But, for now....it took me FOREVER to get this figured out and it's time for small group. I'll add more later.
